Sonal Gadhavi is professionally a fashion designer. She has been working with top notch fashion brands in New York Fashion garment district for over 10 years. She is also a published illustrator for children’s story book on Mindfulness & yoga. She serves as an ART Commissioner for Woodbridge Township NJ.
Sonal is married and mother to two wonderful kids Tanisha & Veer. During early years she studied Economics, She is an Economics graduate. However, her first love is art .Arts so as to teach, inspire and acculturate the next generation of young talent and provide growth and healing via the arts. Sonal also provides therapeutic arts programs in residential and individualized settings, and covers a broad spectrum of physical, mental, and educational
disabilities for all ages, as well as individual and family needs. She has been active volunteer for various communities.
The foundation Soulful Creations World was born through her passion for in creating a colorful world in which no mental or physical challenge need ever limit to human potential to create and excel. Creating a colorful world through art and mentoring programs to develop creativity, confidence, and skills to succeed with joy and self-expression.
She started teaching Art to kids when she was 15 yrs old. Public speaking about art- sharing, artworks from around the world, in schools, and libraries to encourage appreciation of diversity and intercultural cooperation as well as talks on applying creativity to life’s challenges: poverty, depression, and more.
Sonal has also been exhibiting her art / paintings & illustrations. Her artwork has been described as "a harmonious symphony between abstract and spiritual sensibilities."
She has a deep passion for helping others, combined with her work as a passionate designer/illustrator & artist she wants to create a colorful world.
Soulful creations World collaborates closely with schools and community groups to match performing and visual arts programs and Teaching Artists with the specific needs of each group of children. SCW serves the community and society by helping children develop their full potential through the arts. Through SCW, professional artists work with youth organizations to build self-confidence, self-expression, teamwork, resilience, and creativity in children.
Every child have access to artistic opportunities.
